me.jpg (34856 bytes)     This is me. Patrick A. Trisler. I was born in a cottonfield and  raised here in the deep, dark South.  I love almost everything possible about my dear homeland. I enjoyed great freedom in my youth and spent most of my time roaming the swamps and killing cottonmouths with a broad variety of instruments. My high school gradutation was held on our front porch, where we dined on Crawfish and danced under our big live oak. My bride(a Vicksburg girl) and I honeymooned in New Orleans and later moved to Savannah, Ga. where we enjoyed the laid back lifestyle of the East coast.

At the moment, I am currently enrolled in the Landscape Architecture Program at the 'Old War Skule' (Louisiana State University). I hope practice here in Louisiana and hopefully increase the beauty of an already unique landscape.  I am a practicing Calvinist Presbyterian and attend Christ Presbyterian here in our great states capitol, Baton Rouge.

I enjoy a variety of hobbies, but the main one would have to be fatherhood to a couple of rascals, Wrenn and Eli. They take up a lot of time, but are well worth it. I also enjoy reading a large cross-section of fiction and non-fiction books. Horror and Cyberpunk are my mainstays, but I also like Crime Noir novels, Sci-Fi, and anything with a Twilight Zone twist. At one point I would have considered myself a history buff, especially the Crusades and Sumerian history, but I have had to let that slack a lot since I got in school.
